DESIGN LANGUAGE
One estate, four distinct characters
Across The Grove's grounds, personalised signage gives four destinations their own identity. The kitchen garden, beach, woodland trails and football pitch each called for a different visual voice, shaped by the atmosphere of the space. Hand lettering, illustration and colour bring character to each area, while considered materials and placement help the graphics sit naturally within the landscape.
Together, the signs guide guests through the estate and make each place feel memorable in its own way.
CONCEPT
Four distinct characters, each shaped by its setting
Jemima's Kitchen Garden uses loose, handwritten lettering and botanical flourishes in tonal greens, becoming part of the garden rather than a separate sign. Ralph's Beach takes a playful coastal tone, with pale blue hand-drawn lettering, gulls and wave lines painted across the beach hut. Asher's Woodland Trails turns more rugged, with bold compact lettering and a warm orange palette standing out against timber and trees. And Gabriel's Football Pitch brings crisp blue and white sporting graphics, with a compact badge carried across the entrance, pitch-side signage and flag.
APPLICATION
A character for every corner of the estate
From the garden shed to the football pitch, each identity is applied consistently across its setting — painted onto beach huts and planters, carved into timber trail signs, and printed across pitch-side graphics and flags — so every destination feels distinct, considered and unmistakably part of The Grove.
