A distinctive identity for the Octopod collection
Octopod is a ZULUDIVER watch strap project for Geckota. The name reflects the strap’s flexibility around the wrist and the fluid movement of an octopus. The illustrated identity brings this connection to life across the collection’s round packaging.
A textured blue-grey octopus sits against deep black, framed by a fine red ring and confident typography. The contrast gives the packaging a bold, slightly weathered feel, while the circular format echoes both the watch dial and the coiled strap inside.

CONCEPT
An illustrated character with depth and personality
The octopus anchors the Octopod identity. Its curling arms bring movement to the round label and make the tin instantly recognisable. Texture gives the illustration a collectable quality, while strong type and red accents keep it clear across light and dark packaging treatments.
APPLICATION
Product packaging and Geckota heritage
The round Octopod tin pairs the octopus illustration with confident type and red accents. The beer mats are a separate Geckota brand piece, using its famous red, heritage inspired artwork and a classic circular layout to create collectable merchandise.
