My response to The Grown Up Chocolate Companies brief presents the idea of how eating the personalized chocolate may bring back the excitement we may have felt as children. I created
two packages representing young professionals from both genders and applied roles that they
may have desired as children. Along with this I have also developed the idea of how the box and
wrappers can also be personalized. When the audience come to designing their gift, they can also
choose their childhood dream role which would be applied to the package through illustrations.
From my research, I discovered that adult colouring has become a really popular trend. With the
benefits of stress relief and being an act of mindfulness this is suitable for the target audience.
As young professionals lead very busy lives, this could be the perfect method of relaxation whilst
they eat their chocolate - allowing them those care free feelings and to be like a child again.
